Frequently Asked Questions
Niagara Falls is known for Rainbows. What Is the Chances I will see one during my skydive?
Although we can never guarantee anything weather related you chances are extremely high! Since we are the ONLY skydiving center to circle Niagara Falls on every jump you will most likely see the rainbow at some point during that maneuver due to the angle and prism effect.
How long should I expect to spend at the Dropzone?
Skydiving is weather dependent. We only jump during favorable and safe conditions. Your jump will take around 1 hour in total, but please allow up to 3+ hours in case of weather delays. Please arrive at our office at your scheduled check-in time.
What should I wear?
We provide all your equipment, you just need to wear weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Ladies should wear pants or shorts. Please remove all jewelry including rings, earrings, and watches.
How fast are we going? How long does the skydive last?
Once we hit terminal velocity during the freefall you can expect speeds of 120+mph! Under the parachute a gentle glide around 10-20mph. The freefall will last approximately 40 to 50 seconds and the parachute flight will be from 5 to 8 minutes.
Do you jump in all weather?
We only jump in favorable and safe conditions. Like many outdoor sports, skydiving is sensitive to unexpected weather delays. This many include low clouds, rain, or gusty winds. If you get weathered out our fantastic team will help you to reschedule, without any further costs.
Can I take my own camera with me?
Safety is our number one concern. Therefore due to strict regulations, customers are not permitted to take any objects with them including cameras. This is for the safety of customers, instructors and the general public. In fact the United State Parachute Association prohibits anyone with less than 200 skydives to use a camera! Trust us... our Staff knows what they are doing, get the video!
Is there an age or weight limit ?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age with valid Identification. Weight limit of 220 pounds depending on height compared to weight and in generally good health.
